...is a book of short stories by Stephen King, that as I remember it, is really really good. I loved it when I was a kid, anyway, and I just remembered a short story from it called 'The End of the Whole Mess' which struck a chord with me as a young'n.
I googled it, and came across this website that has the story on it in it's entirety. Pretty cool. I'm not sure how much other stuff this website has because I can't be bothered with the very small amount of effort required to investigate that, but here's the story in question. As much as reading online sucks, give it a shot, it's only 12 pages long.
