Indian Summer

My homeboy Ben just put the word on me. The text simply said 'Indian Summer DJs fucking good!'. With a phone call for more information, I found out that they are a duo from Melbourne who clearly know what the fuck is up because they've put their debut EP up for free download on waxwaves.com.au

I don't know how they feel about the comparison, but all I'll say is that if you're a Girltalk fan, then you probably don't know it yet but you're an Indian Summer fan too.

The album comes up in iTunes under the genre 'Party', which I didn't realise was a genre of music, but it's totally justified. I've actually set up a smoke machine on my desk at work solely for use when listening to their album. The guy I sit next to is kind of dark on it, but that's his problem.

Indian Summer, if you ever read this, I owe you a beer. Including Wheatus in there was a master stroke. I'm seriously digging this and am onto my third listen this morning. I can't help it. The party ends and all I wanna do is go raid my parent's liquor cabinet and keep drinking.
