It's been less than a week and already I'm sick to fucking death of hearing about this Joseph Kony bullshit.
I have one thing to say to the band-wagon riding bleeding hearts club that have fueled this fucking trash on Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook. DO SOME FUCKING READING. Do some reading before you throw your beliefs behind a cause you really know nothing about, save for what you quickly learned in a half-hour video on YouTube. Do some reading before you give your money to a fairly disreputable NGO when there are so many considerably better NGOs doing actually good work in that region. And for fuck's sake, do some reading before you blindly re-blog, re-tweet and re-up this shit on your many social media profiles.
If ever I needed to further proof to strengthen my belief that all these sites are totally fucked, it would be provided by the fact that the Kony 2012 video has now received over 44 million views. FORTY FOUR MILLION!
Imagine if every single one of those views was $1 donated to one of the above charities.
This seriously makes me feel sick in my stomach. And the worst thing is that I guarantee that 90% of the pathetic fucks spreading this shit, won't give it a second thought in a month. Maybe even a week.
