...are good. That's all there is to it. They wrote a fuck-tonne of great songs, and their music influenced a huge host of musicians who went on to be great in their own right. What more can you ask for?

Well, I wanted more. I wanted some gritty shit. I searched for 'The Kinks+Scandal' but I found nothing! I searched for 'The Kinks+Groupies' but I found nothing! I searched for 'The Kinks+Sex' and then clicked on image search and I found something! But not what I wanted to find.

So I guess you can play The Kinks to young children and not worry about the repercussions. Way to go Kinks, you wholesome jerks.
