The Bronx

I would be quite surprised if anyone who looks at this blog, and has an interest in this music, doesn't already have this album. But I don't give a shit because I'm listening to it right now and every time I do I'm reminded just how FUCKING, SOLID it is.

whenever anyone tells me they like the bronx, i can't help but wonder if they've ever even heard Hot Snakes.

You mean Hot Snakes who were an American post-hardcore band led by Rick Froberg and John Reis, formed in 1999 in San Diego, California and who disbanded in 2005? If I remember correctly, Reis and Froberg had previously performed together in Pitchfork and Drive Like Jehu, after which Reis had found international success with Rocket from the Crypt.

Yeah, I've heard of them. And I wonder that too.
